Choice of codec to
be used; XviD and DivX are already included in the software.

Select compression
settings according to the trade off between
desired quality and available time.
Schedule the encoding
of several films for later processing (at night,
for instance).
Change framing (ajusting
black bars, 16/9, etc.).
Extract the
soundtrack.
Multiplex,
rework soundtracks.
Calibrate the
resulting copy to optimise space on CDs.

to be encoded and recorded. 
- Verifiy by
stages. 
- Manage subtitles.

DVDx (labDV)

Make VCD and SVCD copies* that are compatible
with your home DVD player.

The DVDx software is included as
